A South African dance lineup for Halloween weekend

Cape Town’s Cabo Beach Club will host an Anything Goes Halloween event on Friday, 30 October 2026, with Oscar Mbo and DBN Gogo among seven confirmed performers. The programme runs from 18:00 on Friday until 02:00 on Saturday, 31 October, at 12 South Arm Road in the V&A Waterfront.

The organiser’s official Howler listing names Oscar Mbo, DBN Gogo, 2wo Bunnies, Funky QLA, Thakzin, InsertCoinz and Not A She. The bill brings together amapiano and Afro-house sounds rather than a single-genre night.

The costume competition is part of the programme

Anything Goes is advertising a costume competition with a combined R30,000 prize pool. Categories include Best Dressed, Best Niche and Best Duo. The organiser says entrants must complete the event form or register at the venue and have their photograph taken by the official photographer. Winners are scheduled to be announced on Monday, 2 November.

The R30,000 figure is the organiser’s advertised total prize pool, not a guaranteed amount for each category or entrant. Attendees should check the event’s terms and conditions for the rules and eligibility requirements.

Tickets, venue and entry rules

Tickets and tables are being sold through the official Howler event page. Public listings showed general admission from approximately R450 in the available release at the time of reporting; prices and ticket phases can change. For table enquiries, the organiser lists tables@anythinggoes.co.za.

The event is restricted to people aged 18 and older. Attendees should carry identification, confirm their ticket type and plan transport for the late finish. The venue is in the V&A Waterfront precinct, where parking and pickup demand can be high on major event nights.

Why this one matters

The lineup reflects the crossover between South Africa’s amapiano and Afro-house scenes: DBN Gogo and 2wo Bunnies bring the former’s club energy, while Oscar Mbo and Thakzin extend the bill’s house-music range. It is an upcoming, confirmed event rather than a rumoured festival announcement.

For the most reliable final details, use the organiser’s live ticketing page, especially for remaining ticket releases, tables and any programme changes.
